Center caps look way out of place... And I can't believe you used all YuGiOh cards to do that >.<

BIG SS TC 03-18-2012 08:13 PM

Infamous SC/SS 03-18-2012 08:19 PM

If thats a Alaskan Malamute, good choice in a dog. I use to have one and they are a badass dog. The white with the blue looks sexy as well.

Infamous SC/SS 03-18-2012 08:23 PM

I didnt notice this earlier but love the Yugi-Oh cards. Good childhood memories.

Turbalted 03-18-2012 08:25 PM

I wish i had a good color to do white rims..

riceburner 03-18-2012 08:34 PM

Flawless..! This makes me want white tc wheels on mine!

O9cobaltSS 03-18-2012 10:44 PM

thanks everyone for the comments! :)

to answer a few questions,

Yes i did use plasti dip! a friend did his new tc rims black and i couldnt believe it was plasti dip, the stuff works good! and acording to him it is reeeallyy durible too! i do work at a carwash so dont worry guys these are going to be kept very clean!

My dog Molly is a shepard husky : )

& lol the yugioh cards haha i was in need for more cards and said fuck it they were in my closet for god knows how long haha

I was iffy about the center caps but they already grew on me, i think the lug nuts brings it all together and makes it not look as off placed : )

thanks again for all the comments!

It looks better with the barrels taped off and clean. Sorry but the other car looks ragged with the barrels half ass covered in overspray.

Cool dog.

How hard will those be to keep clean? They look really super all shiny and clean for sure.

my buddy says the plasti dip isint bad to clean up, and if u mean bc its white i clean me car A LOTTTT as it is now so it shouldnt be TOO big of a prob :thumb: and yea i tried to tape off the inside the best i could with newspaper. I wouldnt prefer to just leave it untaped.

steven2008ss 03-18-2012 11:29 PM

Thought i should let u guys know i took the plasti dip off, ONLY bc its hard to clean bc its rubber and the dirt litterally sticks. Make sure you guys clear over the plasti if u decide to go this route. Oh well it was a cool experiance and im deff looking at getting them powder coated white in the future!

O9cobaltSS - your wheels came out great!! blue & white the color combo even makes the balt look SICK!!! I wonder if the center white strips would make it look even more BAD A55!!

- the last time I seen the deck of card trick to paint wheels was about 15-20 years ago, it's nice to see it's still being used today, another old school trick is Vaseline..

we would paint Vaseline with a 1'' wide paint brush, and paint the Vaseline all away around the wheels without getting it on the rims, it's an old school way of painting the rims without taping the rims up for an hour or two.. after the paint cured, you would go back repaint with color or clear coat a few times, then let it cure again [2-3 hours later] then wash off the Vaseline..
